Erasmus+ is the EU Programme in the fields of education, training, youth and sports in Europe. These fields are the key areas that support citizens in their personal and professional development.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The Erasmus+ programme is managed by the European Commission (the EU’s executive body), the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), a series of \u00a0National Agencies in Programme countries, and a series of \u00a0National Offices in some partner countries.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

          The role of the organisations in this process is to organise these opportunities for individuals. The benefits for the organisations include an increased capacity to operate at an international level, improved management skills, access to more funding opportunities and projects, increased ability to prepare, manage and follow-up projects, a more attractive portfolio of opportunities for students and staff at participating organisations, the opportunity to develop innovative projects with partners from around the world.<\/p>\n

          The cooperation among organisations and institutions is expected to result in the development, transfer and\/or implementation of innovative practices at organisational, local, regional, national or European levels.<\/p>\n

          KEY ACTION 3 : SUPPORT FOR POLICY REFORM<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

          Organisations will contribute to improving the quality of education, training and youth systems in Europe, as well as promoting transnational learning and cooperation between authorities. They will also contribute to developing the basis for evidence based policy-making, as well as supporting networks and tools for policy implementation.<\/p>\n

          Organisations will also contribute to improving the involvement of young people in democratic life and their engagement with politicians.<\/p>\n

          Opportunities for teaching, research and policy debate on the EU and its policies.<\/p>\n

          SPORT ACTION<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

          Designed to develop and implement joint activities to promote sport and physical activity, identify and implement innovative activities in the field of sport, and manage not-for-profit events to increase participation in sport.<\/p>\n

          ACCESSING ERASMUS+ OPPORTUNITIES FROM OUTSIDE THE EU<\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n

          Organisations from countries outside the EU can take part in selected actions of the Erasmus+ programme. In the context of Erasmus+, these countries are referred to as \"non-associated third countries (Partner Countries)\"<\/p>\n

          If your organisation is hosted in one of the partner countries, it may be eligible to take part in one of the actions listed below :<\/p>\n

          1. Mobility project for higher education students and staff to\/from third countries not associated to the Programme.<\/li>\n
          2. Mobility projects for young people 'youth exchanges'<\/li>\n
          3. Youth participation activities<\/li>\n
          4. Capacity-building in the field of youth<\/li>\n
          5. Erasmus Mundus actions for universities<\/li>\n
          6. Erasmus Mundus programmes and scholarships for students<\/li>\n
          7. Jean Monnet actions in the field of higher education<\/li>\n
          8. Capacity-building in the field of higher education<\/li>\n
          9. Capacity-building in the field of VET<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Searching for a project partner<\/span><\/p>\n

            Please note that applications need to be led by an organisation established in a programme country. As an organisation from outside the EU, you will therefore first need to search for a potential partner for your project. One way to do this is to search for a partner in the EU's Participant Register<\/p>\n

            Individual Applicants<\/span><\/p>\n

            If you're looking to apply for Erasmus+ on your own, you will most probably need to do this through an organisation taking part in the programme. Examples are higher education institution, youth organisations, associations and NGOs.
